Cucumbers and Camper

Thomas has quite the green thumb and has harvested a bunch of very yummy cucumbers, picking a bunch of them TWICE so far!!

Below are some cherry tomatoes I planted...delicious little guys:)
Just a cool pic I took of a potted plant on my back porch, I forgot the name of it.
Below: our first real garden!!! The grass is growing inside of it rapidly, but we are trying to keep up and are enjoying it!
We have really enjoyed our camper so far....and we have only camped in our own yard:) Once we take our Tae Kwon Do test next weekend, we are planning to go camping- in Arkansas, and hopefully with some church friends.

The table in the kids room also folds out to a bed. The camper sleeps 9-10.

Blueberry picking

We got up very early with 2 other families, drove 1 and 1/2 hours east to "Barron's Blueberries"
and picked our own blueberries. (Families from our homeschool group)
The girls had fun..and picked alot of blueberries!
We could just go up and down these rows of big blueberry bushes...
Hannah is looking for big, ripe ones...(there were plenty of ripe ones, mixed in with these new, pink ones you see).
Faith did a good job....it was a neat experience....
Cool picture, I think!
See our pickin's?
This is a family owned place. They measure by the pint...here are our four pints...each pint was only $1.00!
Here is how some ended on our plates tonight for dinner...blueberry pancakes...yummy!!

Rollerblade/Flowers

This is for Deb...this is one of the bulbs we ordered for your fundraiser!
My rollerblading accident...last Saturday...all of us went..the 3 others on their bikes...we were moving along and I turned (as I kept my momentum rollerblading) to look at someone who had fallen off her bike and turned back around to run into Faith and land on my elbow, hip, and knee.
It really hurt! (Faith was fine!)

Camping

Toby is trying out my new treadmill shoes.
Payton spent the night the other night and when the girls got themselves all situated for movie night, Toby just snuggled on in- it was sooo cute! He laid there for quite a while!
We went camping with our church group this weekend at Tyler State Park. We had a great time- definetly a place we will go back to. I caught Toby doing some cute "little boy" things that I had to get a shot of.
On the way, I called a friend who I worked at Copy Stop with and who recently moved to Tyler and they met us there for the day Saturday. We hadn't seen Tami and Jeff in about 10 years, but it was like no time went by! These are her kids below.

I am sorry to brag, but the picture below is the absolute cutest picture of 3 kids ever!!!

The kids swam in the lake (didn't know about the lake, so they had to swim in their clothes) and here is Shelby trying to catch a fish.

Friends from church having dinner last night.

Smith's visit- Hawaiian Falls

We went to Hawaiian Falls yesterday- a waterpark near our house.
So we walk in, find a place to put our stuff in the shade, and there is a waterslide right there, next to the picnic table we found....so we thought, let's just do this one first, it's right here...we go up..and the closer we get to the top (Mason, Mal, and me - Aunt Chew)- we are thinking..what is this all about. You get into these tubes, they close you in they with a key, shut the door (I, Cheri, am watching Mason & Mal go first, thinking " Oh my!") then there is a count down..3..2..1..and the bottom drops out from under you- if you look, you are in a standing postition, and you're standing on this floor, which just opens up and down you go! YES, I went down after them (although I inhaled a lot of water going down).
The infamous picture under the water mushroom!
These slides were good...here is Faith...
Aunt Kelly, who was very intrumental
(as in the one )in getting Hannah to go down 3 different slides for the first time..she (Hannah) was very hesitant many times...but Aunt Kel got her going (there was some prodding, literally, which she needed!)
Mason & Mal....
The colors look really good as do the people in this pic...it was a pretty day..
Thanks for joining us, Smiths!
The Wave Pool
A little picnic...Deb, your picnics still rule!

Very Big and Busy Day!

Shelby rocked Toby for his nap today- he loved it! Here she was shushing me.
Notice anything different about AK? Here's a hint: her eyes sure are pretty and easy to see!
Finally got those teeth out! The dentist was very impressed with how well she handled the shots and extractions. I am very proud of her!Check out the root on that one tooth! Ouch!
I cut off about 4 inches of Shelby's hair today.
