Sharkarosa

Had to add one more...a baby croc w/the "Critter Man"- post really starts next pic (below)
We went to Sharkarosa- a wildlife preserve- for a Homeschool day...for just $5/person. The COOLEST was the lemurs...they had just had babies this month! (about 2 weeks ago)- one had twins and you can see them both on her!!!! It was so cute!!!

See the lemur in the back- it's holding a little baby!

Another pic...b/c it was just so neat!!!

These are albino kangaroos....the workers carried them around in pouches to mimic the mother.

They gave a talk about these..very interesting...they get in groups called "mobs" and they know how to swim! (swim well enough to get away from predators)

"The Critter Man was there...with a tarantula(in this pic) opossum, snakes, and baby croc.

on the Tram ride....the "African safari part- (the deer has a funky horn)

The camels! They were eating from buckets attached to the tram...

The girls loved this!

Hannah was doing some "close talking" with Faith on the tram ride... I did not pose this!

Waiting for the tram ride to start....

This was a cute 10 min. ride for the kids...well I saw one or two other moms riding!

They went together for the 1st ride...then Hannah wanted her own car after that!

We had a good day...

Just Fun

Today especially I thought Anmer and I looked so much alike...hair style and matching sweaters.

Just before we left for Texas, Anmer and T had a fun play time in the barn, Thomas asked Anne Marie to teach him how to jump rope, so she very cleverly improvised with two horse reigns, and it was so fun to watch!!

I tried to upload this before our trip (had camera trouble), because Thomas told Faith on the phone that he would send a picture of him and Alex on the blog.....better late than never:)
Oh, and another promise I made to blog a picture for the boys, the night the bobsled event aired during the Olympics, Andrew and Thomas watched and made bobsleds of their own, they were so proud!!!

Sunday Happenings

Today at church the Elementary kids came into each worship service and sang a song (for Palm Sunday..the chorus had "hosanna" over and over, it was really neat to watch)

This picture is when we went into our Family Life Center service (instrumental).

This afternoon, is a backyard day for Ryan and the girls....after church they headed outside...here they are making their annual garden! The reason there is this picture of just Faith and Ryan is b/c Hannah helped with one row then, of her own choosing, played the rest of the time!

Fun with Debbie's hair!

In the cap, before we did the painful pull through the holes!!!!
Debbie was such a trooper!!!!
oopps, out of order again...at the skateboard park.....

Debbie is so pretty! She is so photogenic!!! It is colored in this picture with Thomas....
The flash makes it look a little lighter......
A different view, different day, with the curly style....

This is a true view of it....she looks so beautiful with it pulled back like this!!

Another pose!!!

Right after we colored it......

Skateboard park

We went to a skateboarding park today....it was free...and fun!!!
They all tried new things!

The cement was smooth, so if/when they fell off, it wasn't so bad....
