Breakfast time!

This morning, Faith wanted me to stay in bed and said she had breakfast all under control. So I did.
Brownie bites, apple and peanut butter, milk, and chewy snacks for dessert! She even used the apple slicer (sp?) with help from Hannah.

Field Trip Crowell/Nienstadt

Glad our school is different....Hannah wouldn't have made it sitting still!- oh- see below for where we are! (a few pictures down...I added these on top) ***Look in the back, that's Jo with a cute yellow top on...many people complimented her on it!!!!
Cooking! The girls had so much fun!!!
Sitting in a pioneer school house....
Hannah hanging out with Tobsters in the "Chicken Coop"
Jodi took us to the COOLEST place today! It was a Log Cabin sight- with many REAL (actual homes that have been moved to this location)log cabins, with real artifacts and very hands on! This is in front of a room where they kept dried flowers hanging from the ceiling.
Dressing up....what sweet girls in sweet dresses! (Hannah was hanging with Toby)

Combing sheeep's wool to make it soft before turning it into thread.
Sitting on a bed....it was amazing these cabins and the people telling us families of 8, 10, 12 people lived in these homes!
Grinding corn......

The Reynolds Advance to Yellow Belt

Okay, this is a little off topic, but Andrew did want to blog his reaction to two wasp stings...ouch!!
Yellow toes to cheer on our "yellow belt testers":0) Lainie was a great cheerleader for us!

Corbin went in the group before us, then the four of us tested together...serious stuff!!

I video taped Andrew and Thomas's test-board breaking with our home video camera, so that is why there is footage from my digital camera of the boys breaking boards at home.
P.S. I added some more video to the post below, if you looked earlier.....look again;)

Fun With Our Lainie

We were SOOO PROUD of our Lainie- she and Anmer had a lot of fun with Baylor- and Mom did a GREAT job "steering" and stopping and "backing up" Baylor (see videos)- she's a regular ol' cowgirl!!
Okay, feeding horses treats can be a little.......well....yucky...
As I was driving home from a quick errand to the store, I saw this little guy on the side of our road that we live on, so I picked him up and took him home for Thomas to play with- he was SO excited!!!

We left him, "Shell", on our porch, and he ended up crawling away while we were eating dinner. We were so stumped, because we checked on him before we started eating, and then half an hour later he was gone- the crazy part is that we searched and searched our yard and couldn't find him ANYWHERE!!!! How far could the little guy have gone?? He may be under our deck. I told Thomas we couldn't keep him for long...those are leaves, a little water and an orange slice with him in his little space;)
Lainie had fun watching Thomas and his new "pet"- oh, and THANK YOU, Lainie for cleaning up the weeds in my yard!!!

Sunday Happenings

Faith pulled out her other front tooth this afternoon...I went to hang up clothes, came back and she had decided to pull it out on her own!
Hannah needed to be in a picture, too!
She is so excited!!!
Ryan is getting a new van ready for service...so the girls are loving playing in the back, handing him the nuts/bolt/screws...

Injury, Spelling, Soccer, Tooth

We went back to the skateboard park (post from when Debbie was here)..and Hannah was sitting on the skateboard, and rolled over her finger..this is one week later...and after a doctors visit..as she is pulling back the nail with no complaint of pain!!!
I had taken her to the doctor b/c after a few days, it was swollen and purplish at the end of the day, and I didn't want there to be an infection under the nail (before she began to pull it back and I could clearly see under it! )
" Little House on the Praire" dog....
Faith did a homeschool Spelling Bee...there were only two 1st graders..but she was the last one standing!
It was at a church that Shea (one seated- kind of "head mom" of group) attends.
2010 Winter Soccer trophy.. the Pink Angels

Chess Tournament

Ms. Allen, Jake's GT teacher, gives Jake his second-place medal.
The sixth-grade winners and their teachers.
Ms. Allen was so excited for Jake.
Jake picked a magnetic chess board for his prize (in his hand). The big chess set is one Mom gave us for our first married Christmas and is almost always set up for playing. And you can see the three nacho cheese containers on the bottom right - we bought pretzels with cheese to celebrate Jake's success!
Jake wanted to play all of us right away on his new chess set.
