Haircuts and Trophies!

This is so cute- he lays on his tummy to play cars, look at books, color, watch tv,

and play DS!
Abby Kate had her last game tonight and got her 1st trophy ever!
Shelby got her very first trophy too! She received it at her team party her last Saturday night.

I thought this was sweet!
Here are 2 of her coaches and some boys from her team. We had 42 people over that night- it was really fun!

Toby before his first haircut...and after! He was so cute and did such a great job sitting still!

Last Day of School!!!!!

Here are the girls with their end of the year certificates. We are so excited school is out for the summer!
We did our annual end of the year trip to Marble Slab and Half Price Books.
Mark enjoyed his ice cream!
Toby was uninterested in celebrating with ice cream until...
he got to hold his own cone!
Kelly- Shelby made this Lego house this morning and said it was your house!

Awards Banquet

They counted down the Top 10 of the Permian High School Sophomore Class tonight at the Awards Banquet, and Luke received a medal for his #1 Rank. His best friend was #3. Here he is pictured with the principal. We have really had a wonderful first year of high school. We are so grateful for the friends he has met, and we especially enjoy when they come to the house. Luke also received his yearbook this week. Guess who is in the yearbook as a sophomore student...the 22-year-old man who has been in the news!

Time to Shine Banquet

Dads giving out character awards.....
In front of "Table of Accomplishments"
Last night we had our homeschool end of the year banquet -"Time to Shine" I have been involved with the H.E.A.R.T (Home Enrichment and Righteousness Training) group. Each child was presented with a character award. The dads came up to give them...Faith's was "Diligence"
I don't have one for Hannah, although she got a certificate for "Neatness". Ryan came up, called on Hannah, and she shook her head "No" and was shy..so Ryan just talked about her from the podium. (I was helping announce the program, so I didn't sit by them during the program)
This is blury..but it was fun to see Ryan, standing up there with 12 other dads! It was really neat to hear the dads talk about their children growing in character during the year.
Here is the table we sat at...inside the gold pots (one for each family, were candy, coupons from restaurants..)
Not the best pic of all of us! We had it at First Baptist Church of Carrollton, where alot of the homeschool group goes to church.
They had a "Table of Accomplishments" where you just chose what to put on it...(we did 4 papers and the pillow behind)

BB's and Screaming Babies

We came home from church this morning to find that the boy who lives behind us does not have very good aim with his BB gun! He has one unhappy momma who has to pay for one very broken window!

I was taking pictures of the babies in the nursery for something for church and this is the look I get from Toby!

The girls have a friend over today and apparantly Toby doesn't feel like he is getting enough attention!
