Tim and I took a cruise to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We had a wonderful time!
One of the first things you have to do is put on your life jacket and report to your emergency life boat station.
We sat here to watch the ship leave the port in Ft. Lauderdale.
The first day was at sea.

Much better view than the treadmill in my bedroom!

The two story dining room.

The second day we docked in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We had a great buffet lunch before we headed out.

We learned that San Juan has walls surrounding the entire city.

The third day we docked in St. Martin. This is the only land mass that has two countries living peacefully together on one island. We docked on the Dutch side and went to the beach on the French side.

There were two "formal" nights where we were supposed to dress up for dinner.

We were quite pleased with our table location!

The fourth day we docked in in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. We toured the island and spent some time on the beach.
Our ship is the one on the left.

Day 5 we tendered at Labadee, Haiti. That is the ship in the background. There were tenders that went back and forth to the ship every 15 minutes.

Day Six was at sea heading back to Ft. Lauderdale.
One of the unique things about this ship is that it has a lawn on one of the top decks. We had a good time playing bocce ball.

It was a great, relaxing trip. We owe a HUGE thanks to my mom, Cheri, and Jodi for coming and helping with Mason and Mallory!
