Nienstadts in Creede, Colorado

Faith took this....she's good!
my sweet girl
my other "banana girl"

here the girls are collecting moss for their "dams" they are making

we went on a 2 hour horse back riding trip...Faith rode by herself

we saw such beautiful scenery...Hannah had to ride with an adult

Faith rode on "Buck shot"

the girls were so looking forward to riding horses!!!

Faith caught this fish!!!! (check out Hannah!)

Fishing at "Love Lake" it was SO peaceful....this was a 20-25 min.drive from Creede.

On one of our many hikes...Faith loves to climb rocks!! Here they are surfing.

caught in a stream along hillside of a mountain on one of our hikes
we're hiking along and Ryan notices these bones up on the side of the hill...so cool!!!

early morning (@9:00am) it was chilly...we're off to hike!

about 8:30 am...going on a hike...the previous pictures (bones, trout, "surfing" on rocks...were all from this hike...we were gone from 8:30-almost noon!!!)

Hannah claimed the middle bunk all nights (there is a bottom bunk you can't
see (which I slept in 2 of the nights!! )

Painting together after dinner (each day we were gone from morning -dinner)
The cabin had a bedroom-then kitchen-then family room (where bunk beds were)-then
bathroom all in a long rectangle.

It was absolutely awesome there! Here we are on a different hike!

This was to show how much I loved the pine trees!!! All different shades of green!

North Creek Falls (about a 35 min. drive)

The girls loved to wade in the very cold water!

We went on a hike that started right from town..and at the end it began to rain, so we
took shelter under this rock for about 20 min...

This was such beautiful forest area...most places we hiked were part of the Rio
Grande National Forest...this one was the other side of a hill alongside Creede.

We hiked this hill first on our trip..you can see the town of Creede behind Faith..
our cabin is down there somewhere!

Our first day there...this is the middle of town..Creede

Our first morning out...here is the cabin...that the Kemps, our friends from Sugar Land, let us
use...thanks, guys!!!
